Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 01 Delhi – Kasauli (300 kms. / approx. 7 hours drive)
Your tour starts as you drive from Delhi to Kasauli where you will be booked for one night. An army cantonment, Kasauli is still untouched by the rampant commercialization that has affected other popular hill destinations. At a height of 6000 feet above sea level, it is the embodiment of a perfect hill station.

Day 02 Kasauli – Shimla (115 kms. / approx. 3 hours drive)
Today you drive to Shillon where you will be stay for two nights. Welcome to the land of pine scented hills, beautiful Shali peaks, crisp winter skies, fragrant cedar forests, romantic mists and golden hillsides. The rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 03 In Shimla
This morning you will be taken to Shimla (40 minutes drive) to visit Jakhu temple, dedicated to Hanuman. Next you will visit the Vice Regal Lodge, which was built for Lord Dufferin. Designed in an Elizabethan style, it has some good views of the mountains. In the evening take a stroll down the mall.

Day 04 Shimla – Manali (255 kms. / approx. 7 hours drive)
Today you will be driven to Manali. On arrival you will check into your hotel for 3 nights. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 05 In Manali
This morning take an excursion to the Rohtang Pass or Snow Point, 51 kms from Manali, 3978 meters high, which for centuries was the gateway to the trading routes that led to Lahul and Spiti. On your return you may wish to stop at Solang Valley, 13 kms from Manali, which offers fine views of glaciers and snow- capped peaks.

Day 06 In Manali
The day is at leisure. You may take an optional tour to the four and half century old Hadimba Devi Temple. You can also visit the Tibetan Monastery, which houses several images of Lord Buddha, Tankha paintings and a handicraft center.

Day 07 Manali – Chandigarh (300 kms. / approx. 8 hours drive)
This morning you will drive to Chandigarh where you will stay overnight. The rest of the day will be free.

Day 08 Chandigarh – Delhi (250 kms. / approx. 5 hours drive)
Today you will drive back to Delhi for your journey back home.
