Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
- Day 1 - Arrival
Flight to Rome. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in the Ostia / Pomezia area.
- Day 2 - Excursion to ROME
Today we take you to Rome. We will discover the "Eternal City" and experience the unique atmosphere between antiquity and modernity - the Coliseum, Roman Forum, Vatican with St. and get explained. Move to the hotel in the Chianciano Terme area.
- Day 3 - Excursion to FLORENCE
Today you are going to drive to the capital of Tuscany, the incomparable Florence. Discover the most famous squares and sights such as Piazza Signorina, S. Croce, the imposing cathedral, the romantic Ponte Vecchio and experience the unique atmosphere of the Medici city on your own or on a city tour *. Overnight in the Chianciano Terme area.
- Day 4 - Excursion to MONTALCINO & MONTEPULCIANO
Enjoy the wonderful panoramic view of Chianciano Terme over the typical Tuscan landscape and relax in this traditional spa town. Later in the morning, you might take an excursion * in the area to the medieval towns of Montepulciano and Montalcino, well-known for its traditions and the best wine. Overnight in Chianciano Terme.
- Day 5 - Excursion to ROME
Get to know more of Rome. Use the time to visit the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain or one of the museums and enjoy the charm and classic atmosphere of “Roma eterna”. In the late afternoon you will move to the hotel close to Fiuggi.
- Day 6 - Excursion to NAPLES
Passing the mighty fortress of Monte Cassino you reach the lively and impressive capital of Campania, Naples, at the foot of the imposing Vesuvius. Discover this traditional but at the same time quite modern city in the Gulf of Naples independently or on a guided city tour * In the afternoon, continue to the Roman city of Pompeii, which was buried in 79 when Mount Vesuvius erupted. The guided tour will give you an impressive insight into life in the ancient Roman Empire. Return to the hotel in Fiuggi.
- Day 7 - Excursion to CASTEL GANDOLFO & FRASCATI
Discover the small medieval town of Fiuggi and enjoy the relaxed way of living and being at piece of real Italy. Later in the morning there is the opportunity to take a trip to the Alban Mountains * Visit Castel Gandolfo, the Pope's summer residence and the lovely village of Frascati. Enjoy the breathtaking view over Rome and try a glass of Frascati, the region's famous fresh white wine, in one of the typical wine cellars. Return to the hotel in Fiuggi.
Day 8 – Departure
Breakfast in the hotel. Free time until the bus transfer to the airport in Rome. End of our services
