Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
Day 01 Arrive Udaipur
You will arrive Udaipur on your own. On arrival at Udaipur airport or the railway station, you will be transferred to your hotel where you will stay for two nights. In the afternoon visit the City Palace, one of the largest palace complexes in the world - the gleaming Lake Palace and the Jag Mandir, a refuge of the rebel Mughal prince Shah Jahan.
Day 02 In Udaipur
In the morning, you will take a boat ride around Lake Pichola, which offers spectacular views of the city. Then, continue to the ornamental gardens of the Maids of Honor or Sahelion ki Bari.
Day 03 Udaipur – Bijaipur (150 kms. / approx. 3 hours drive)
Drive to Bijaipur, enroute visiting the Chittaurgarh Fort which stands on a 152m high rocky hill rising abruptly above the surrounding plain. Inside the walls are a village and ruined palaces, towers and temples. Arrive into Bijapur and check into the hotel where you will stay for one night.
Day 04 Bijaipur – Jojawar (215 kms. / approx. 4 hours drive)
Early morning, stroll in the woods – a must for bird watchers. Follow this by a picnic breakfast on the banks of the ancient lake. In the afternoon drive to Ravla Jojawar in time for evening tea. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 Jojawar - Jodhpur (140 kms. / approx. 3 hours drive)
Visit the Rebari Dhanis, the abode of the Nomads, where one gets to see herds of 5000 camels in one little hamlet. Then experience the jungle on a jeep drive. For the interested, there is an option of horse riding as well. Post lunch depart for Jodhpur. Overnight at the hotel
Day 06 Depart Jodhpur
Today visit the Meherangarh Fort and the Umaid Bhawan Palace. Later depart to travel back home.
